“I can do everything through him who gives me strength.” Philippians 4:13

Every dog has its day is an old proverbial saying meaning at some point everyone will have some kind of success.
Philippians 4:13 is one of my go-to scriptures, “I can do everything through him who gives me strength.” This is such a powerful statement. When we feel inadequate the Lord is right there to boost us up and strengthen us. I’m standing on the promise as I go into the next chapter of my life.
As most of you know, I've been writing consistently over the past two years. I have reached out to publishers and the advice I have received was to start a blog so I can generate an interest. I’m definitely out of my comfort zone but I feel like I am doing what God wants me to do as I’m constantly being prompted to publish a book.
Yesterday I signed an agreement to launch a book project with a Christian publishing company who will guide me through these muddy waters. I have no idea how successful this will be but the idiom "every dog has its day" popped into my head as I embarked on this journey. I’m excited and nervous but I am confident I'm being led by the Holy Spirit to accomplish what He has planned for me.
I will continue to post idioms but not as frequently as I have been because I want to save some for the book. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all your encouragement, love, and constructive criticism.
