Walk the walk

Walk the walk means our actions are aligned with our words. Jesus exemplified this truth throughout his ministry. He was gracious, compassionate, and kind to everyone he met.

Today everyone is in such a hurry to get to the next "thing", we no longer linger with one another. I can't tell you the last time anyone simply "dropped" by my house to see how I was doing. Now we send a quick text and go on our way.

Jesus lingered! He saw people face to face and met them where they were; at a well, in a boat, on a road and around a table. He ministered to them and God has called us to do the same.

Hi, my name is Kim Johnson.  I am a Wife, Mom, Sister, Friend, and Grandmother.  I have lived in Virginia for the past 25 years but my roots are from North Carolina where I grew up hearing idioms.  My children said I should write these things down so I took it to a deeper level and connected them to scripture to show how God has continually revealed himself in my life.  
 

You may be wondering where "Blooming With Jesus"  came from. My inspiration came from my grandma who loved me unconditionally and spoke these idioms to me throughout my life. Through these I have been able to blossom in my faith and grow closer to God each day. My hope is as you read these you too will be able to grow in your faith.
